That people are only going to be more desperate.

It will become hopium that you’ll end up sell your kids to be raped by the Epstein class because you’re so desperate for a bowl of hot soup to stave off starving to death.

AI can be run autonomously for simple tasks, but not the complex ones which are actually what costs the most.

That’s neither what its being sold as nor is it a reflection how tomorrow’s capabilities are being advertised.

Ai isn’t inherently bad. It’s just bad to have it in a society where your ability to get food, housing, and medical care are inherently attached to you having a job, which AI is marketed as replacing. Also, all the art that was stolen.

This is basically the start of the counter to automation. We still tell fables about people who stood againt the devaluation of workers like this.
