DA:O and the Mass Effect trilogy are quite good games, both story and gameplay-wise.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft reportedly projects $1,200 to $1,800 price for 2028 Project HelixEnglish
13·17 days agoI’m only afraid that Gamers will actually fucking buy it, and Microsoft (and others) will learn that gamers will keep buying consolee for almost 2k dollars, and then future consoles will never go down in price. Just like it happened with graphics cards, when Nvidia learned that gamers would buy 2x Titan class gpus (which were not supposed to be a gaming card), and then discovered they could sell a 90 class for 1500+ dollars (and going up with each generation) and the fuckers would still gladly buy it, and that they would also still buy cards with prices inflated at 200~300% values during the crypto boom.

1·23 days agoI am not from the USA, so that’s a problem for y’all to figure it out. However, the answer is usually quite simple: hit them where it hurts. Here where I live the government has not yet been fully controlled by the fascist right, so we still have a chance to use legal and civil devices. But if not, just remember what the french did.

3·23 days agoI have this discussion with a lot of people from the left, who often say they need to occupy those spaces and not let them be only a cesspool for conservative spiel. However, what they don’t seem to understand no matter how fucking much I tell them, is that you cannot win a game your opponent controls the rules. The only solution to traditional social media is to pressure the government to ban it. Not regulation, bans are the only way.

91·26 days agoIf a random visitor visits your website and they see a weird anime girl drawing talking about security, what is the chance of them just bouncing away afraid that it is a virus or an unsafe website? I’d say it’s definitely higher than 0%.

5·1 month agoI still have windows on my work computer, it prompted me to install 26h2 yesterday, so I did. Immediately, windows explorer started showing buggy behavior. Win+tab flickers on and off repeatedly, explorer restarts itself… Fucking hell, and then they say AI code is good.
Is this Elon? Lol
