31·6 days agoYear I view it kind of like firearms. You can say you have one for self defence but they’re used more for crime and war and hunting.

212·7 days ago“We cannot be proud of working at [Boston Dynamics] when that work is being used by a government agency that brutalizes civilians, including some of our own colleagues … ,” the petition read.
But like, what did they think their dogs would be used for? Walks in the park? Of bit ICE, then what?

27·12 days agoJesus. I’m like all in on indie studios and old games. I don’t need this bullshit in my life. It’s already too much if a headache to comprehend what’s possibly worth it or not when you pay by the month or the hour to try and figure out budgets and so on. Cancel it all, play the old shit and pirate the rest.

17·19 days agoI agree. “The cloud” is just the same shit but someone else is running it and it has a web based UI. There’s also ways to make libreoffice collaborative too hiw m365 office is. We don’t need it.
I called this over a decade ago. Embrace, extend, extinguish, now all the prices hike what seems like quarterly or biannually. Such a joke.
