I never heard about that. Was it due to moving the games to their own storefront that had no Linux support? Or straight up removed it with no sensible explanation? Got any specific games in mind?
Depends. It all stands on the shoulders of the client. My guess is Vaultwarden will fork and go with their own UI and plugin.
Either publishing server should serve the metadata - although it would be prone to bad actors, so a refetch in the next 0-180 seconds would be appropriate. Or just add a random 0-60 second delay before fetching the data.
