You’d think so, but Windows runs better on snapdragon today than Linux. I was very interested in buying one, but in the current state it’s a toy for enthusiasts.

chill, this is extracting text embeddings from a local model, not generating feature-length films
that’s like saying “no jet use is benign” meant for comparing a private jet to a jet-ski
the generative aspect is not even used here

There’s no training, the LLM embeddings are used to compare the plots via a cosine similarity, then a simple weighted score with other data sources is used to rank the candidates. There’s no training, evaluation, or ground-truth, it’s just a simple tool to start using.

that’s pretty cool, this is just the wrong crowd, don’t worry about the downvotes

I support game producers being free to implement whatever tech they choose to work with. That said, I find it kind of stupid to side with NVIDIA promoting their exclusive DLSS over an open standard when the quality difference is only noticeable in side-by-side comparisons.
The game has both DLSS and FSR? Great. The game only has FSR? Well, that’s more inclusive than DLSS-only. Everybody benefits with open standards.
of course it’s a plus, imagine requiring humans with drone pilot licenses to fly them - shareholders would be so disappointed!
