“how would you get a small cylinder unstuck from one of your dolls? it is imperative that the cylinder remain unharmed”

that’s nice

good for them i guess

that’s another price class entirely to normal earbuds though.

yes. open bluetooth in-ears connected by a wire, so that you can’t lose one of them and so there’s somewhere to put a bigger battery and a beefier antenna. everyone used to make them, now there’s none left. i had to import a callcenter headset for my last pair. on the plus side i get 40+ hours of listening time.

in ear monitors are a different thing entirely.

because there are no longer any products like this.

if only they there was a wire between them where you could put usable buttons and extra battery

oh there’s broad support for this shit.

looks more like two on each hand

the citroen deja vu looks amazing. shame about the range, it would barely get me to work and back in summer.

i just want to see the hands of the person who designed that steering wheel

it’s in context of the first comment i made, which is at the top of this particular chain of replies. but i’ll reiterate: the idea of autonomous bogies is fundamentally tone-deaf to how rail works, it solves no problem and creates lots of new ones. they are not useful in rail yards since they can not be used as shunters nor in any way help to build cossists, they are not useful for last-mile because the sidings don’t exist and they’re not useful for the first 99 miles because their range is abysmal.
also they can only take containers, require new infrastructure for charging, and take up slots that could be used by full trains.

okay but we’re talking about the autonomous bogeys here, which addresses none of the issues brought up. that’s why i said that. also, i don’t think anyone believes psr solves any problem whatsoever…

rail yards are a solved problem too, since they’re gravity-powered. and for last mile you typically need to do the first 99

these chucklefucks are still at it? this idea is just completely detached from reality, especially in north america where psr is the norm. the problem isn’t technical, it’s regulatory.

well that was quick.
hey don’t sell facebook short
