Yep a lot of decomps just get a slop coded version and people stop caring about it because the slop version is “good enough.” Most people doing the decomps it’s also a hobby project that they’re doing for fun as well, the end goal is just a bonus.

Problem is it takes infinity research to call out some of this stuff, and they can usually weasel into some stupid word games, like “tankie just means communist!”

Yep I don’t immediately assume someone from ml is a tankie, but it’s going to make me more wary that even normal stuff they say is just being a mask on tankie.

I mean these people are incredibly stupid but I probably also would’ve given a temp ban (but I also probably would’ve banned the people saying “both sides!!!”). That community is there to moan about capitalism’s failings, and your posts didn’t really fit there. It’s like going into a support group for women and saying men also have these problems, even if you’re right these people feel like they’ve been failed by the system so you have to take a softer tone.
