What began as a handful of developers experimenting with PC games on Android has become one of handheld gaming's most ambitious projects. I spoke with the people behind DroidDeck about what brought them together, the challenges of running Steam on Android, and making it accessible to everyone.

Trying to find a phone with an adreno 725 or above has opened my eyes to how miserable just trying to find a phone to buy is and I have no idea how phone geeks haven’t given up.

There are only a few dozen devices on that list total. Hundreds more are relevant; for example, the AYN Odin 2 and newer likely work very well, and I can personally confirm that some games work well on the Odin 1 (but only if you upgrade to LineageOS 22, since the stock firmware is stuck on Android 10).
