There’s at least zero.

“Random back off” is the name of a technique to avoid this exact problem.
Each instance generates a random number of (say) seconds between (say 15 to 120) and schedules the fetch for then. It is extremely unlikely that any two instances select the same second.
I’m inclined to think that when ‘reading’ in a dream, you’re actually just dreaming the concept as if having read it.
It’s your dream, you already ‘know’ what a sign says.
If that makes any sense at all…

No idea, I’m not monitoring power consumption at all.
I’m just assuming that the Intel CPU based system will idle at X Watts, peak as Y Watts, and that an ARM based appliance would idle at X and peak lower than X.
If any thing, I noticed that my UPS batter didn’t last as long during an extended ded outage once I deploy the SFF PC.
Also, TCO, if I save $100 on the price of the device (that draws more power) that is a lot of power savings required to break even.

OpnSense running on an ex-lease HP i3-something SFF desktop. Added several cheap half-height GigEth PCIe cards for the LAN bridge.
It is way over spec for what OpnSense needs but it was cheap and extensible.
UPS power supply.
There’s a tangle of PoE injectors which makes me sad. PoE PCIe cards appear to be ludicrously expensive here for no apparent reason.

Hegemony is the word you’re looking for.
Yeah, always a dog whistle.
If anon wasn’t a customary-unit-tard and went with nice SI hectograms he’d had survived to the 1080 with only mild obesity.
Still would be dead though.

Anon is a Victorian idiot.

Being exempted for belonging to a special club is ass.
Being exempted because personal moral conviction despite not belonging to a special club: cool.
